Exposed Rock Shelf by brentbat Exposed Rock Shelf by brentbat
Went out this morning and photographed on the rock shelf at Warriewood (it was low tide). Got some rain, but once the rain cleared we got some nice dramatic skies.

Yea, great stuff here. Love the color and motion you have captured. The only nit would be to want to see the rock meet the bottom left corner. But other than that, rock on :-)

Did you adjust the perspective in this, horizon seems round but then the world is round so nothing has to be straight. Great exposure, lovely location :)

Hi Drewboy

I used a 17mm for that shot.... some very slight barrel distortion which is why the horizon is curved. I normally RAW process in Capture NX2 which automatically does lens correction for me, but I was too lazy and did it out of Lightroom.

What type of filter did you use? If any.

From memory I had a Singh Ray 3 stop hard grad ND and probably a Cokin Circular polariser.
